The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and R&SD jointly manage and implement REFORCO Project funded by a European Union. The project is mainly implemented in Kisangani, the Eastern, with the University of Kisangani as the main beneficiary. The project has supported a range of MSc and PhD teaching and research programmes. Over 1,000 sqm of offices and classroom have been renovated and equipped. Researchers and students supported by this project have conducted scientific research all over the country.

Project budget and duration : 4,2 million € and 59 months, ending September 2014.
