CIRAD has subcontracted R&SD in order to perform much needed quality control in rainforest permanent plots.
Two 9ha-plots are located in Yoko, south of Kisangani (Democratic Republic of Congo).
R&SD staff assisted scientists from the University of Kisangani in performing an initial data quality assessment.
Data management and further intellectual property use are addressed in a memorandum of understanding involving CIRAD, UNIKIS and CIFOR.
