R&SD, in partnership with Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, an Italian consultancy firm assisted the Government of Ethiopia in its policy to promote private and foreign investments. To this end, an action plan has been developed in view of supporting that policy, involving the authorities of the country, notably the Ethiopian Investment Commission, and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation.
This action plan was developed under the Transformation Triggering Facility, an EU-funded programme amounting to 35 million Euros, aimed at promoting high value exports, import-substitution and expansion of tertiary education (notably vocational training), research and innovation.
